Overview of high-frequency transformers
A high-frequency transformer refers to a transformer with an operating frequency exceeding 50Hz, usually between tens of kHz and hundreds of kHz. It is widely used in electronic fields such as switching power supplies (SMPS), radio, communications, and power transmission. Compared with traditional low-frequency transformers, high-frequency transformers have smaller size, lighter weight, higher working efficiency and better power transmission characteristics, and are particularly suitable for applications with high power conversion efficiency requirements.
The working principle of high-frequency transformers is based on electromagnetic induction. Its main function is to achieve signal conversion and power transmission through voltage rise and fall and current isolation. Since high-frequency transformers can operate in high frequency bands, they can transmit a large amount of power in a limited space.
