April 10, 2026Bourns, Inc., a renowned manufacturer of electronic components, has unveiled a new automotive-grade SMD Power Inductor series fully certified to AEC-Q200 standards, tailored for electric vehicle (EV) powertrains, battery management systems (BMS), 48V mild-hybrid systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
This rugged SMD Power Inductor boasts a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, ensuring reliable performance in the harsh thermal and vibration environments of automotive applications. Featuring a shielded construction to minimize magnetic radiation, the SMD Power Inductor delivers high saturation current and low power loss, critical for improving the efficiency of on-board chargers (OBC) and DC-DC converters.
