Bourns’ SRF1010DA series of dual-winding SMD power inductors is transforming Class-D audio amplifier design, reducing total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) by up to 15% for clearer sound quality. The two-in-one inductors, manufactured with metal alloy powder cores via molding technology, deliver high saturation current and low DC resistance—key for minimizing signal degradation.
Used in soundbars, automotive infotainment systems, and professional audio gear, the SMD power inductor integrates seamlessly into LC filter circuits. “Class-D amplifiers demand precision components, and our inductors ensure optimal power transfer with minimal noise,” said a Bourns audio solutions specialist. The series supports inductance configurations from 1µH to 22µH, catering to diverse amplifier power ratings. Samples are available now, with mass production scheduled for Q1 2026.
